Under Rule 404 of the South Carolina Appellate Court Rules (SCACR), an attorney who is not admitted to practice law in South Carolina and who is admitted and authorized to practice law in the highest court of another state or the District of Columbia may be admitted pro hac vice in any action or proceeding before a tribunal of this state.
