Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) User Guide
What is MFA?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security measure that requires a second step of verification in addition to your password. Even if your password is compromised, MFA helps prevent unauthorized access.
When Will MFA Be Required?
Starting August 30, 2025, MFA will be mandatory for all users.
How Does MFA Work?
After logging in with your email and password, you will be asked to verify your identity using one of the following methods:
- A code generated by an Authenticator App (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator)
- A one-time code sent to your registered email address (as a backup)
How to Set Up MFA
- Install an Authenticator App
Download one of the following apps on your mobile device: - Log In to Your Account
Use your usual email and password to sign in. - Scan the QR Code
Scan the QR code shown on screen using your Authenticator App. - Enter the 6-digit Code
Enter the code generated by the app to complete the setup.
Once this step is complete, MFA will be enabled for your account.
Can't Access the Authenticator App?
If you don’t have access to your mobile device, you can click the "Send code to email" option on the login screen to receive a verification code by email.
